Definitions

  • “We/us” refers to OddThings.co.

  • “The website” refers to OddThings.co, including all variations of the URL.

  • “You” refers to the user and customer of the website.

  • “Seller” refers to any individual or business listing items for sale on the website.


Placing an Order

To place an order with us, you must:

  • Be at least 18 years old.

  • Purchase goods for delivery within the UK.

  • Provide accurate information required to process your order.

  • Arrange a valid payment method.


Checking Order Details

It’s your responsibility to ensure all order details are correct, including colours, optional details, and product dimensions to fit your property. You should also verify delivery availability and acceptability of estimated delivery times. All delivery times are estimates and cannot be guaranteed.


Order Rejections

We may occasionally reject orders due to:

  • Unexpected stock shortages.

  • Unforeseen resource limitations.

  • Unsatisfactory credit references.

  • Inability to verify age (for finance applications).

  • Orders outside our delivery areas.

  • Suspected fraudulent activity.

If your order is rejected, we will notify you as soon as possible and refund any payment made.


Stock Discrepancy

If a product is out of stock, we will contact you via email or phone. You may choose to wait for restock or receive a full refund.


Pricing Errors

We aim to display accurate prices. If a product is incorrectly priced, we may cancel the order or contact you to reconfirm at the correct price. If we cannot reach you within 7 days, the order will be treated as cancelled and a full refund issued.


Order Processing

Orders are processed once full payment is received. For finance applications, processing occurs after deposit payment and verification of billing address and phone number. Providing incorrect information may delay processing.


Ownership and Responsibility

Ownership of a product transfers to you once full payment is received. You are responsible for the product once delivered or collected. For financed purchases, ownership passes according to your finance agreement terms.


Payment

  • Payment is taken at the time of order.

  • We accept major credit cards and bank transfers. We do not accept cash or cheques.

  • Payment may be subject to validation checks or third-party authorisation.

  • Products will not be dispatched until full payment is received.


VAT and Import Fees

  • VAT adjustments may apply if the rate changes between order and supply.

  • You are responsible for any import fees or taxes when ordering outside the UK.


Delivery

  • Delivery times are estimates shown in business days.

  • We or the seller are not liable for losses due to late or failed delivery.

Payment Currency

All payments are accepted in GBP (£). Non-GBP prices are indicative only. Exchange rate fluctuations may cause minor differences, which we are not responsible for.


Outlet Items

Outlet products may show minor signs of use (e.g., scuffs or marks). These imperfections are reflected in the price and are not covered by our 12-month warranty. Your statutory rights (for consumers) do not apply to imperfections known at the time of purchase.


Product Assembly

Assembly is your responsibility and is not included in the product price.


Damaged Goods

If a product is damaged on delivery:

  1. Do not assemble the product.

  2. Notify us within 14 days.

  3. Take photos of the damage and send them to hello@oddthings.co.

Once verified, we will repair, replace, or refund the product. We will arrange collection at our cost. Damage caused by you or during assembly is not covered.


Delays Outside Our Control

We are not liable for delays caused by events outside our control. If a delay exceeds 14 days, you may cancel the order and receive a full refund by contacting our Customer Service Team.


Account Security

You are responsible for maintaining your account password and preventing unauthorised access. Notify us immediately if your password is compromised. You accept responsibility for all activity under your account.


Website Downtime

We strive to keep the website available and error-free. However, access may be temporarily suspended for maintenance, repairs, or updates.


Order Confirmations

Placing an order constitutes an offer to purchase. We accept your offer when we send an email confirmation. Products not confirmed in the email do not form part of the contract.


Vouchers and Discounts

Voucher and discount codes are not redeemable for cash and cannot be combined with other offers unless stated.


Right to Cancel

We reserve the right to cancel an order at any time.
